The Solidarity Action Network is a collective of every-day workers, tenants, and community members in the Greater Atlanta Area committed to defending ourselves and each other against class-based economic exploitation.
We know from experience that the condition of the working class here in Atlanta is characterized by daily struggles in the face of bosses, landlords, and other wealthy people who hold power over our lives. Union-busting, discrimination across gender/sexual orientation/race lines, withheld and insufficient wages are all too commonplace; not to mention illegal rent hikes, substandard living conditions, and eviction threats in a quickly-gentrifying city that continues to value profit over the very people that make it run.
We know all too well that these abuses happen frequently and with no consequence, and that no one is here to save us but ourselves. For this reason, we’ve decided to unite and get organized, to build the collective power necessary to ensure our rights, dignity, and quality of life.
