How does this work? What should I expect when reaching out?
You can contact us by text, social media, voicemail, or email. Briefly describe your situation, and one of us will get back to you as soon as possible. We’ll ask a few questions and set up an in-person meeting to discuss next steps.
You’ll lead the fight against your landlord, employer, or other parties, while we help you develop clear demands and strategies. Together, we’ll mobilize volunteers and the community for pickets, protests, and other actions.
By working together, you’ll reclaim your tips, deposit, or wages, and help make your home or workplace safer and more dignified
Who funds SANA?
Nobody funds SANA. It is an organization of mutual support from one normal working person to another. We are committed to fighting back against injustice and economic exploitation. We believe another world is possible if normal people join together and fight back.
Are we social workers/lawyers?
No, we are normal people — we go to work, we rent our homes.
How do we choose which fights to take?
We choose fights based upon winnability and the willingness of the person who needs help to participate within our campaigns. In other words, if you are looking for help, we will help you if we think you can win and if you will participate in the struggle.
What is our vision?
Our vision is a world where exploitation and injustice is met with resistance. We believe that when we struggle, we win.
What is the political ideology of the group?
Our society is divided into two broad social groups. On one side stand the bosses, landlords, and their goons (the police); on the other, the workers and the renters. Whereas the bosses and landlords are numerically few, the workers and renters are numerically large. We wish to eradicate this division. We are, in other words, anti-capitalists, and we struggle for a socialist society.
